Every newborn session is a gentle, calm experience designed for you and your baby to feel completely relaxed. My goal is to capture those first tiny moments naturally, safely, and beautifully.
Your baby’s first weeks are fleeting, and these early days are full of tiny details and fleeting expressions that you’ll want to remember forever. My sessions are slow-paced, guided, and entirely baby-led, so you can enjoy the experience without stress.
From the moment you arrive, I take care of everything – gentle posing, carefully selected props, and a serene studio environment. Every session is designed to feel effortless for you, while producing timeless photographs that become a treasured part of your family story.

- Final Selection: After the shoot and viewing and ordering appointment, you’ll receive carefully edited, high-quality images to treasure forever.

Frequently Asked Questions – Newborn Photography
I know there’s a lot to think about when booking a newborn session. Here are some of the most common questions I get from families along with answers to help you feel prepared and confident.
How old should my baby be for a newborn session?
I recommend the first 7-14 days for that sleepy, curled-up stage, but I always work at your baby’s pace. Each baby is unique, and comfort comes first. Baby older already? Don’t worry! Some poses and newborn galleries can be created with babies aged up to 6 weeks.
How long does a newborn session last?
Sessions are unhurried and typically last 2–3 hours. We follow your baby’s cues for feeding, sleep, and comfort to ensure a relaxed experience.
Do you provide props, wraps, and outfits?
Yes – I provide a curated selection of wraps, blankets, and props. You are welcome to bring anything personal you’d like included.
Can siblings or parents be included?
Absolutely – and I encourage them. Family photos are guided and kept calm so everyone feels comfortable.
When will we receive our photos?
After your session, we will book in a date within 1-2 weeks for your viewing and ordering appointment where you can select your images. Your wall art will typically be ready for collection in 4-6 weeks.
Can we combine sessions or book a package?
Yes – my Bump to Baby package includes maternity, newborn, sitter, and cake smash shoots. It’s designed for families who want a complete story from bump to baby’s first birthday.
